Free genealogy lessons off and running

As I mentioned in a recent post, I have started a series of free, genealogy lessons by e-mail. You can sign up at the top, right side of my blog. There is no confirmation page right now. If you put in your name and e-mail address, it just takes you back to the blog. I am going to change that eventually but I am not that far yet. I have over a dozen people trying it out right now. I appreciate their help in letting me test this out on them. My goal is to expand its readership, beyond my blog. I will eventually start promoting it around the web but I am going to start with my loyal reader base here.

I will probably post some of the lessons here, just to get the information out in more than one way. I like to get the comments that people leave on the blog. I find them quite helpful in refining things. However, you might wonder why you should subscribe to the lessons if I am going to post them on the blog. I can see that point but you might miss some of the items that I do not post here. I also appreciate your comments on how the e-mails look, feel and read. Everyone has different computers, spam filters, fonts, anti-virus protection, firewalls, etc. so it is hard to make one e-mail that works for all computers. Any feedback that you offer will help me refine the final product.
